Terms of service

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the website and store operated by Tarek Shalaby ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

About Our Products

Tarek Shalaby sells handcrafted nickel-plated copper homeware and decorative pieces, made by hand in our workshop in Al-Gamaleya, Cairo. Because each piece is worked individually, minor variations in engraving depth, hammer texture, or finish may occur between pieces of the same design. These variations are a natural result of the handcrafting process, not a defect, and are not grounds for return under this policy alone.

Orders and Pricing

All prices are listed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including errors in pricing or product information, suspected fraud, or unavailability of stock. If your order is cancelled after payment, you will receive a full refund.

Some products can be customized with engraving or personalization upon request. By requesting a customization, you confirm that the text, names, or phrases you provide are accurate and that you have the right to use them.

Shipping

Shipping timelines, costs, and coverage are described in our Shipping Policy.

Returns and Refunds

Our approach to returns and refunds, including items that are not eligible for return, is described in our Refund Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including product photography, designs, text, and the Tarek Shalaby name and logo, is the property of Tarek Shalaby and may not be reproduced or used without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tarek Shalaby is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or your purchase of our products. Our liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Egypt.
